Current Charity Projects
Members who'd like to donate a quilt bring it to a monthly meeting or contact Lesley R or Julie F. See below for details on what organizations we're currently donating to and what they are looking for!
Organization: Sleep in Heavenly Peace
Website: https://shpbeds.org/
What they do: Organization builds beds for New Hampshire kids who are without beds.
What they need: Nothing bigger than a twin. Twin size is best, but they welcome lap/throw sizes as well.
Organization: Hugs of Love
Organization: Merrimack Hospice
What they Need: Quilts for Hospice patients. They suggest 54 X 70, but probably any size throw / lap works. They also request “soothing colors” but that can cover a wide range.
We occasionally get specific requests for quilts for people in special circumstances and are usually readily able to meet the need.
