Recap of May 19, 2020 Meeting

Our second Zoom meeting was well attended.  We welcomed a new guild member, Mary Lou.

Ellen D, our Treasurer, provided an update on our financial status.

Patty advised that we are not going to be able to meet in the First Baptist Church space until this fall at the earliest.  We are considering the possibilities of an outdoor meeting.

We had 222 tickets purchased by 19 people for our Raffle of Alison Glass's Stitched half-yard assortment.  Patty won the raffle.

Trish talked about 2020 trends in quilting based on what was showing at the MQG convention and otherwise.  She then led a game involving quick research into the latest quilting news and activities.

We got updates on the Gemology and Atmosphere quilting group status and activities.

Trish is going to lead a group doing Lucy Boston English Paper Piecing (EPP).

We had a good round of Show & Tell at the end of the meeting.

May 2020 Guild Meeting Raffle

We have a meeting coming up next Tuesday at 7 pm via Zoom!

We are very excited to offer a raffle this month for 12 half yard cuts (yes, you are reading that right!)  of Alison Glass's new line Stitched! Check out the beautiful colors.

To participate in the raffle, you will need to buy "tickets" via Paypal (see below).  We will have our normal advantageous pricing scheme for those of you that want to increase your odds by buying more tickets at one time!  We will close the raffle purchases at 9 pm Monday, May 18.  We will have raffle tickets made up with names and for the number of tickets you purchased and pull the winner at Tuesday's meeting.  It should be very exciting!
