January 2020 Show & Tell
Photos from our January meeting Show & Tell are below. Unfortunately the recording on my phone did not happen so there is going to be limited commentary. These are in the order they were showed.
A bright and flowery jelly roll quilt.
Colorful flowers!
Like the mix of light blues and red!
A small table top quilt with squares.
Apologies for this being a bit blurry, but wanted to leave it in.
Super bright Kaffe Fassett fabrics!
Dramatic squares set on point!
Dramatic green quilt design!
Marie showed this contrasting, off-center log cabin quilt.
A soft cuddly quilt finish.
Suzy finished this quilt with gradated ombre colored fabrics.
Suzie also completed this impressive Patchwork City quilt, designed by Elizabeth Hartman.
Ophelia showed her rendition of Penguin Party by Elizabeth Hartman. The plaids are flannel!
Ophelia also showed us optically challenging quilt!
Ophelia also completed her Snowflake -- the pattern is by Nicole Dacsiewicz of Modern Handcraft. Front and back are shown.
Ophelia's colorful stars with scrappy centers, front and back.
Ophelia's last quilt was this large dramatic heart made out of wonky blocks.
Leslie has been very busy and showed us a number of finishes. This has the incredibly cute animal panel in the center.
As I recall these are the colors of a favored athletic team.
Pretty red and blues!
Nice movement of the steps through the block colors!
This is a very pretty exploration of squares and blues.
Robin presented this ultra-colorful and cheerful quilt!
A dramatic improv with the black background showing off the stars.
A novel setting of triangles, many with dots and stripes.
Donna showed this incredibly cute mini.
Front and back of this lovely finish with bright colors.
This finish has a lot of wonderful movement in it.
Patty showed her colorful paper-pieced Swell pattern (Alison Glass).
Trish showed her paper-pieced elephant. Pattern is by Violet Craft.
