Everyone has been quite productive during the summer!
Ophelia showed this dramatic piece with fabric by Janet Clare, an English designer, pattern called Windy Way.
Here's the back. This was quilted in free motion style.
Ophelia had a second quilt with a red backing for a young friend called KaPow, with the Marvel take.

Sarah finished this one at retreat. Really cute! Blocks made in 2012-2013, and the background fabric is Tiger Lily from Ophelia's stash.
Lorie is selling raffle for the ABLE New Hampshire.
Mary Jane took a trip to Ireland, and of course she went to fabric stores! In Donegal she found scraps of wool woven there that she plans to make a quilt out of with flannel backing.
Then, of course, Mary Jane spent time at the Liberty of London store.
Finally, she visited a store in Chipping Camden in the Cotswolds, which had very charming fabric block printed with country themes. We are all envious but glad to at least be able to see some of the results of her travels!

Karen showed us this quilt top with a beautiful horse panel. She asked us for ideas on how to quilt it!
René had a number of projects to show us!
The first is eight monthly blocks really nicely set with the white border.
Second, a quilt from a February retreat organized her friends friends made blocks in her favorite colors for her as a surprise. She finally put them all together. Very beautiful.
Third, a quilt with bright colors.
Fourth, is one with fabric from Vermont, really pretty Vermont-like colors.
Fifth, this one is made up with a layer cake and Christmas-y fabric.
Last, with detail below is a quilt with many one-inch squares in her favorite colors. Quite an accomplishment!
Julie showed a bright colored quilt with reds and blues! Lots of impact!
