Please bring 1 yard of modern fabric to share at the next meeting on Tuesday April 8th. And bring a pair of scissors. Choose a fabric that is not your precious. (You know that fabric you love so much that you don't want to cut it?) Leave that fabric safe at home and bring something else that is fun and modern. :-)
After our fabric game , Marie will be showing us all how to make circles. This tutorial will tie in with the Modern Quilt Guild's 100 Days of Modern Quilting. Week 1 of the series explores shapes. We plan to cover all the shapes over the next few months. And we will incorporate each shape into a block of the month.
Michael Miller 2014 challenge fabric has arrived and will be distributed during the meeting to members who signed up at the February 27th and March 11th meetings.
And, as usual, bring your show and tell!
